Evan’s gift of Love Romance Charms

Evan and Cherie were in love.  Evan wanted to give his beloved Cherie a symbol of his love and devotion to her, so he bought several love romance charms for a bracelet that he had also bought for her.  Each charm was a symbol of his feelings for her.  Charms are tiny ornaments that come in numerous shapes and sizes.  They contain a loop that makes it possible to connect them to bracelets, anklets, necklaces, and even rings.  Photoart charms and Italian charms are variations on the traditional charm. Charms shaped like hearts, cupid, flowers, and other symbols of love make great Valentine’s Day gifts.Evan and Cherie had been seeing each
other for nine months.  Recently, they had stated their love for each other.  Evan had never been happier, and he wanted to give Cherie a symbol of his affection and devotion to her.  He knew that Cherie really loved jewelry.  She had more of it than he had ever seen.  Although she had a number of rings, necklaces, bracelets, and sets of earrings, she did not have anything jewelry with charms on it. Charms are small ornaments that are designed into various objects and made out of metal, wood, and other materials.  They contain a small loop that can be connected to necklaces, bracelets, anklets, and even rings.

Evan was an English teacher and loved to study the origins and meanings of words.  He found that the word charm was derived from the Latin word carmen that means song.  Some of the word’s definitions are an action that has magical power; reciting a magical verse or song; something that is worn for its magical powers; and possessing beauty, charisma, or sexiness. After reading this, he was more convinced that love romance charms were the perfect symbol of this love for Cherie.  After all, his and Cherie’s love was magical, and Cherie was full of charm and delightfulness.

Evan knew that Cherie really liked gold jewelry, and it was quite becoming on her.  Therefore, he decided to buy her a 14 carat gold bracelet and several love romance charms.  He would give her one charm per week starting on Valentine’s Day until the bracelet was full of charms.   Each of the love romance charms would symbolize his feelings for her.

When Evan started to shop for charms, he quickly became overwhelmed because he had no idea of the sheer number of charms that were available.  After searching a number of Web sites, looking through Cherie’s jewelry box to get a better sense of what she liked, and talking with a jeweler, he decided to get two heart charms, a love letter charm that was shaped like an envelope with a heart on it, a teddy bear charge because she loved teddy bears, a cat charm to symbolize her cat, Aisha, a “key to my heart” charm, and a cupid charge.   All of these charms were solid gold.  He decided to give her the “key to my heart” and cupid charms on Valentine’s Day.  Each week, thereafter, he planned to create a romantic scenario and present another one of the love romance charms at just the right moment.

He could just imagine how surprised and touched Cherie would be to receive these beautiful charms.  His eyes glimmered with delight and his heart pounded with anticipation for the moment when the love romance charms would touch his love’s beautiful heart.
